"General" is a Once-In-A-Lifetime rich sorrel Missouri Fox Trotter gelding. He is 15.1 hands tall and heavy enough built to carry a rider all day long with ease. You don't get the opportunity to buy a horse like him very often. He is gentle and safe. He has no bad habits. He has been trail ridden for most of his life by an older senior gentleman. Both he and his wife have had health issues and are no longer able to ride. This precious boy deserves the very best of homes. He has been trail ridden all over and is the same gentle horse every time that you put your saddle on. He is not spooky. He will go anywhere that you point his beautiful head. He crosses water and downed trees. He will ease across ditches and downed trees. He will walk along with quarter horses. He has a wonderful natural and smooth gait. He will also canter with just a nudge. He is really well broke and such a pleasure to ride. He has been ridden on blacktop and gravel roads and he is traffic, atv and dog safe. He loads and hauls the best and he stands statue still for you to mount. Also take a look at "Copper" horse #1598. He has been the riding partner for "General". He has been ridden by an older senior lady. These boys have been ridden together for years and we would love to see them go together. If you are looking for 2 amazing horses that are safe, gentle and smooth gaited don't miss them!!
