"Cracker Box" turned 5 Years old this year. He is around 50” tall. He is a buckskin paint pony with a ton of flash. He is stocky, big bone & built to last. He trail rides, swims & is going nicely on the barrel pattern. He has won Youth 3D money at Rock’n RV Arena & only getting faster. He is the first (& only) pony we branded. My daughter has done all the work with him herself. Zero buck for us. He is not for a beginner because he does have speed to him & he’s a “free runner” on the pattern. He also isn’t a lovey dovey in your pocket kind of guy. It takes him a moment to trust people. But once he does, it’s a great bond. He stays up to date on everything. 7way & dental work yearly. Farrier work (nice hard feet, no founder) every 6-8 weeks. Deworming every 3 months. He has been hauled to races, rodeos, & trails rides all over Missouri, Arkansas & parts of Oklahoma. He has been in the grand entries at rodeos: flags, rough stock, announcers, loud music. ??this pony is winner material and we’d like to see him mature to his full potential. My daughters put a lot work hard work into this one & he is by far her absolute favorite Diamond K Pony! My daughter worked him hard January- October 2022, which would be his 4 year old year. We turned him out with our broodmares in October 2022 & he’s been turned out ever since. We wanted to let his mind mature & not push to much on him to fast. My daughter will gladly put a few more rides on him before he leaves for his new home.
